Tour Itinerary
Day 1: 11th of May 2026 Arrive Siem Reap
Sua s’dei and welcome to Siem Reap! You are welcomed at the airport by your driver and guide who will transfer you to your hotel in the city centre (rooms are available from 2pm). Make yourself comfortable and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure, absorbing the various atmospheres of Siem Reap.
Day 2: 12th of May 2026 Angkor Wat
Today is dedicated to the discovery of the essentials of Angkor temples. Let’s first explore Angkor Wat, easily the most famous and best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. It is a massive three-tiered structure crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65-metres from ground level. Next, visit the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the royal enclosure, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King are the main elements of this 12th century masterpiece. A lunch break will be arranged in a local restaurant and will be at your own expense. We continue to Ta Prohm Temple, which, unlike most of other Angkor temples, has been left just as it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of trees growing out of the ruins. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.
Note: Appropriate attire when visiting Angkor temples is long pants (covering the knee) and shirts that cover shoulders. Skirts, small shorts, tank tops, and other items of revealing clothing are not allowed within temple grounds. Visitors can and are frequently turned away from temples when wearing revealing clothing.

Day 3: 13th of May 2026 Siem Reap – transfer to Victoria Mekong Cruise – Angkor Ban
Breakfast and check out at hotel. Transfer to meeting point of Victoria Mekong cruise in Siem Reap city center.
This morning, travel by coach from Siem Reap to Kampong Chham, set-off for lunch before embarkation. Meet your crew for the next 7 nights and enjoy your first sunset on the Mekong River.
Before dinner, immerse yourself in Cambodia’s cultural heritage with a fascinating Krama demonstration, where you will learn about Cambodia’s iconic scarf- its history, significance, and be interesting at the versatility a scarf could be in daily life.

Day 4: 14th of May 2026 Angkor Ban - Koh Dach - Koh Chen
Morning excursion to explore the village of Angkor Ban with its wooden stilt houses and local vibe.
After having lunch on the ship, travel by three-wheeled tuk tuk to Silk Island where you will learn about the process of silk weaving, from worm to loom, with the chance to observe local families weaving the iconic Cambodian karma.

Day 5: 15th of May 2026 Koh Chen – Oudong - Phnom Penh
After breakfast, go on a walking tour of the village of Koh Chen where the highlight is meeting a local copper- and silversmith. Afterward, travel by coach to Oudong, the ancient capital of Cambodia with a stop at the fascinating Vipassana Dhura Meditation Center.
Enjoy lunch on board with time to relax in your cabin afterward.
In the late afternoon, before setting off for the afternoon excursion, spending some minutes for hands-on cultural experience by learning the delicate art of folding lotus flowers, a symbol of purity and devotion in Southeast Asian tradition. Then, hopping on a pedal-powered cycle to the elegant Raffles Hotel Le Royal for a signature cocktail at the famed Elephant Bar. Return to the ship for dinner and entertainment activities onboard. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 6: 16th of May 2026 Phnom Penh
This morning, explore the majestic Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda complex. Admire the elaborately constructed palace buildings, some of the 5,000 silver floor tiles that give the Silver Pagoda its name, as well as spectacular gold and bejeweled Buddha statues that are considered national treasures. Walk to the nearby National Museum, a beautiful sandstone building that showcases the world’s largest collection of Khmer art. Set off for lunch afterward before driving to Choeung Ek, one of the mass grave sites of the Killing Fields where the Khmer Rouge executed over a million men, women, and children between 1975 and 1979. Today, Choeung Ek is a memorial with a Buddhist stupa filled with skulls and bones to honor the victims. Back to the cruise takng in a lively performance of Khmer Apsara dancing with the opportunity to meet the performers afterward. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 7: 17th of May 2026 Phnom Penh - Tan Chau - Vam Nao
As the ship cruises towards the Cambodia-Vietnam border, start the day with early exercise on the Sky Deck, followed by breakfast. Choose from onboard activities like a ship tour, mini-golf, or simply enjoy the scenery as we cross the border.
After lunch on board, the ship sails into Vietnamese waters and anchors near Tan Chau. Tenders sampans to cruise through the floating village to watch a special way the people in the Mekong Delta raising freshwater fish under their stilts. Get your first glimpse of the Vietnamese countryside.
Return to the ship for a traditional Vietnamese lion dance, followed by dinner and evening entertainment.

Day 8: 18th of May 2026 Vam Nao - Tiger Island - Long Xuyen
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast in Phu Tan, the provincial capital of An Giang in the Mekong Delta. Tender ashore to explore a craft village renowned for its handmade Ca Rang clay stoves. These traditional stoves, used for centuries by southern Vietnamese, feature a unique design that blocks wind, retains heat, and prevents ash from dispersing.
During lunch, the ship continues its journey before anchoring near Tiger Island. Cruise onward to the Island and take a scenic walking tour through lush rice fields and vegetable gardens. Stopover to discover the local craftsmanship of making plant pots and finally visit the famed “Mr. Tiger’s Temple” to hear the intriguing story behind the island’s name. Return to the ship just in time for the cocktail competition and a night of entertainment.

Day 9: 19th of May 2026 Long Xuyen - Dinh Yen - Can Tho
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast as the ship cruises towards the provincial capital of Long Xuyen. Wandering by sampan around Long Xuyen floating market with meeting habitants on floating houses, learning about their life story on the water.
Enjoy lunch onboard as we cruise towards the village of Dinh Yen where we’ll observe colorful straw mats being woven on mechanized looms.
Return to the ship and cruise towards Can Tho, the beating heart of the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music performance known as “Đờn ca tài tử”. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 10: 20th of May 2026 Can Tho - Cai Be - Sai Gon
Enjoy breakfast on the terrace of Claypot Restaurant with time to enjoy the view from the pool or from your private balcony before disembarkation.
Accompanied by your local guide, board a coach for Cai Be where lunch is served at the elegant Le Longanier Restaurant set amidst lush fruit trees by the river.
Continue to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving mid-afternoon at ÊMM Hotel Saigon, 157 Pasteur Street, District 3.

You will be greeted by your guide and driver at the drop-off point in Ho Chi Minh city of Victoria Mekong Cruise (Emm Saigon Hotel) for your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, free time at leisure. Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City, is the largest city in Vietnam. It is the bustling economic capital and cultural trendsetter of the country, yet it also holds the timeless traditions of an ancient culture.
In the evening, experience the local nightlife and enjoy tasty food and live music as we ride pillion on vintage Vespas along the busy streets of this vibrant city. See Saigon come alive at night on this after dark adventure! Description: Immerse yourself into the cosmopolitan nightlife of this busy city by night. Soak up the energy of this urban metropolis at a top ranking stylish venue of Saigon in central city location where we sip on our first drinks while watching the sunset Saigon. Your expert driver will then zoom through the busy streets and alleys of Saigon to see the local life and check out some of the famous highlights in this bustling city. Feel like a local as we feast on authentic, fresh seafood dishes, eating streetside and then enjoy the local favorite that is the delicious Banh Xeo, a traditional Vietnamese savory pancake, and other southern dishes. We then ride off into the night again to experience live music at a live music venue where a new generation of Vietnamese flaunt their style. Bring a healthy appetite and a sense of adventure as our guides show you their city by night.

Day 11: 21st of May 2026 Cu Chi Tunnels & Half-day Saigon city tour
The guide will meet you at your hotel. Hop on the van and depart Saigon, making your first stop en route to visit a handicraft workshop. Spend some time there, taking a tour of the workshop, before continuing to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Upon arriving at the site in the mid-morning, your guide will first take you through an introductory video before leading you to the relics. During the visit, you will have the chance to view various mantraps, the remains of an American tank, and numerous bomb craters. Then, spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels and discovering how the Viet Cong survived in this underground network. Afterward, head back to Saigon for lunch.
In the afternoon, continue with a visit to the Independence Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam. This includes the "War Room," where the South Vietnamese forces were controlled, and the room where the North Vietnamese army finally took control during the Fall of Saigon in 1975. The next stop is the War Remnants Museum, previously known as the "Museum of American War Crimes," which contains countless artifacts and photographs documenting these crimes — including the killing of civilians, the use of chemicals, the torture of prisoners, and the war’s impact on the north. Planes, tanks, bombs, and helicopters are displayed, and outside the museum, there are rooms showcasing cultural products from Vietnam. Finally, head to Notre-Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 using materials mostly imported from France. Neo-Romanesque in style, it is a major center of Catholicism in modern Vietnam and one of the city’s key landmarks.
Note: Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral from outside only as it is under renovation.

Day 12: 22nd of May 2026 Saigon – Fly to Danang – visit Golden Bridge - Hoi An
You are met in the lobby of your hotel for a drive to the airport. Embark on your flight to Danang, where you are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel in Hoi An. Danang is a modern and dynamic coastal city, a regional hub at the doorstep of Hoi An ancient town.
Upon your arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to the Ba Na Hills area, where your cable car transfer will be waiting to take you up to an altitude of 1,487 meters above sea level. This is the second-longest cable car in the world, with a 1,292-meter difference between the two stations. During your visit to Ba Na Hills, you can explore an ecological park, a theme park, a pagoda, and a replica French village. Accompanied by a tour guide, you will walk along the “Golden Bridge” - a pedestrian walkway offering uninterrupted views of the majestic landscape below. Afterward, you will have some free time to explore the park further before enjoying lunch at one of the many accessible restaurants that offer à la carte menus (at your own expense). After lunch, enjoy more leisure time at your own pace before returning to the cable car for your descent. Then transfer back to your hotel in Hoi An. Check-in hotel and enjoy leisure time.

Day 13: 23rd May 2026 Hoi An – Coconut basket boat – Hoi An city tour
In the morning, drive to Cam Thanh Coconut village. We start the trip by meeting local people and listening to them share about their daily lives. We will take the basket boat, ride along the riverbank that is filled with verdant green palm groves. Proceed to visit Tra Que village, you will take a short stroll to the vegetable garden and you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. The following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables, and many other gardening activities. After all these activities, you will take a short rest and enjoy a foot massage (if any) before getting to preparing lunch. Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘tam huu’ spring roll, Banh Xeo, or local pancakes of people in Viet Nam middle region. You can join the cooking with the chef on these meals.
In the afternoon, transfer by car to the ancient streets of Hoi An, lined with Chinese traders’ homes and wooden houses that have been reincarnated as restaurants, cafés, and outlets for local artists, craftsmen, and tailors. Hoi An's unique architecture is beautifully displayed in what is arguably Vietnam's most tourist-friendly town. Explore the stunning 16th-century Japanese Bridge. A symbol of Hoi An and a testament to its fascinating history, the Japanese Bridge was constructed in the early 17th century, though the exact date is unknown. The bridge, also known as the Pagoda Bridge (Chua Cau), was built by Japanese craftsmen who were part of a larger community of foreign merchants active in Hoi An.

Day 14: 24th of May 2026 Hoi An – Flight to Hanoi – Half Day City tour
After breakfast, free time until transfer to airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, meet your tour guide and driver, then transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, we will take you to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can view the impressive mausoleum (from outside only) and enjoy a pleasant stroll through the lush gardens of the Presidential Palace, which include the One–Pillar Pagoda and the House on Stilts of Ho Chi Minh.
Next, visit the Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius and built in the 11th century. It was the first university in Vietnam, and students still come here to burn incense. You will find a peaceful atmosphere tinged with incense smoke and sunken lotus ponds populated by fish and turtles.
Afterward, you will be treated to a water puppet show — a unique Vietnamese art form that dates back to the 11th century and was originally performed on rice paddies.
After the tour, back to hotel and free at leisure.

Day 15: 25th of May 2026 Hanoi – Halong Bay
Departure in the morning from Ha Noi. We drive across the Red River delta and reach the coast a little before noon. We then embark on a beautifully crafted junk for a cruise in the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Depending on the cruise you choose, you’ll explore different parts of the bay—Ha Long, Lan Ha, or Bai Tu Long—all of which are within the Ha Long Bay ecosystem. Once on board, we are served a delicious seafood-based lunch, while the surrounding limestone outcrops make for a truly magical setting. In the afternoon, we reach a less travelled area where we will devote ourselves to pure relaxation.
The program is not fixed and depends on the time of the year and weather, but there will be an opportunity to visit a cave as well as explore a floating village or do a little bit of kayaking over the course of these 2 days. We end the day on the sundeck as the sun sets on this magical seascape. This evening, you can enjoy an aperitif or attend a cooking demonstration before dinner. Overnight in a comfortable private cabin with an en-suite bathroom.

Day 16: 26th of May 2026 Halong Bay
Enjoy the sunrise, the lapping waves, the fresh sea air, the gentle breeze, Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck or get up at your leisure. Depending on the cruise you choose, you’ll explore different parts of the bay—Ha Long, Lan Ha, or Bai Tu Long—all of which are within the Ha Long Bay ecosystem. We transfer to a day boat for the second day’s activities with kayaking and swimming on an islet. In the afternoon, you'll return back to the main cruise to relax on the sun deck and enjoy Happy Hour “buy one get one free”. End the day with a spectacular set-menu gastronomic dinner. Overnight on board.

Day 17: 27th of May 2026 Halong Bay – Ninh Binh – Mua Cave
For those early birds, start the day with a proposed Tai Chi session, while tea and coffee are served as the sun rises and illuminates the surrounding seascape. We then continue our exploration of the bay. Upon returning to the boat, check-out of your cabin and enjoy a light brunch while cruising back to the pier. We disembark and transfer to Ninh Binh.
Arrival in Ninh Binh, we get to Mua Cave, wonderful destination in Ninh Binh for shutterbugs and photographers thanks to its magnificent vistas from the peak above. We will begin an incredible ascent to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain. Standing at the top of Ngoa Long Mountain, you can enjoy a priceless view of nature while taking in the breathtaking rice valley.
Afterward, transfer by car to hotel and check-in. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 18: 27th of May 2026 Ninh Binh Boat and Bike – Transfer to Hanoi
After breakfast, we visit the remaining temples dedicated to the Lê and Dinh dynasties. We then travel deeper into the less-traveled region of Mount Tuong. Here, we hop onto our bicycles for a leisurely ride across the quaint and peaceful countryside before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we take a sampan ride from Thien Ha Grotto to Thung Nham Sub-Valley. We end our exploration by climbing the three levels of Bich Dong Pagoda to enjoy spectacular views over the so-called inland Halong. If time permits, we can explore the nearby village briefly before returning to Hanoi. The day ends with some free time at your leisure.

Day 19: 28th of May 2026 Depart Hanoi
The day is free at your leisure until transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight. We wish you a pleasant flight!
